Message the tenants/owner before your visit
“To protect your privacy online, could you please tuck away any family photos or other personal items? If you could also clear any clutter or toiletries off the counters, that would be great. It ensures your private stuff stays private and helps me get the photos done quickly! Thanks so much!”
Once on-site, let in the light!
Before you take any photos, walk around the property and make sure things are looking tidy. Turn on all of the lights and open all blinds/curtains, letting in as much light as possible.
Start shooting, remembering corner to corner
Make sure you hold the phone level and at around waist height. Take photos at opposite corners of each room, capturing 2-3 walls. For essential items like a fireplace or accent wall, center those in the middle.
